IT WAS approximately 10 years in the past – June 2012 – that Nissan first introduced its Leaf all-electric hatchback on Australian shores, kicking off the nearby EV journey for the Japanese car or truck-maker.

 

Now in its 2nd era, the Leaf array has expanded to two variants this month with the arrival of the e+ – a much more high-priced variation that packs a larger and much more potent battery, improving upon each driving array and electric power outputs.

 

With weak charging infrastructure and array panic continue to troubles for Australian EV customers, does the Leaf e+ have what it takes to help boost sales of Nissan’s zero-emissions smaller hatch?
