New Subaru Solterra STI concept previews hot electric SUV

Subaru has unveiled a Solterra STI notion motor vehicle at this year’s Tokyo Vehicle Salon, supplying an early flavor of what could be a production version of the sporty electrical crossover later on down the line. The STI version gets an aggressive styling makeover, though Subaru hasn’t launched performance figures for the large-performance notion EV. 

The Solterra STI notion receives a distinctive lilac colourscheme, and various aero modifications to established it apart from the normal version. The entrance bumper is carried about from the existing motor vehicle, with an angular facia and black plastic wheelarch cladding that extends to the headlights.

The STI version gets a distinguished entrance splitter completed in cherry purple for a far more sporting visual appearance, but the wheels are shared with other Solterra designs, save for a distinctive gloss black end with purple accents. The STI notion does, nonetheless, wear sportier Dunlop Activity Maxx rubber, hinting at its amplified performance. 

The purple accents have through to the prolonged facet sills of the motor vehicle, which element aero fins forward of the rear wheels. As with the normal Solterra, the STI notion receives gloss black doorway mirrors and a black roof, which visibly lowers the car’s roofline.
