Milestone Merc was developed at Daimler’s new Manufacturing facility 56 in Sindelfingen
The initial new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class from Daimler’s Manufacturing facility 56 has been considered the 50 millionth auto from the firm’s international manufacturing community.
“Fifty million autos generated is a important milestone in the historical past of our business,” explained Joerg Burzer, manufacturing and supply chain head.
By 2022, six new EQ EV styles will be in collection manufacturing throughout the world. Batteries are provided by plants on 3 continents with Daimler indicating nearby battery manufacturing is a critical results issue for its electric offensive.
Also from 2022, manufacturing at all plants will be CO2-neutral.
The Maybach S-Class arrived off the line at Sindelfingen’s new Manufacturing facility 56 opened in September 2020.
