Tempers can run very hot in motor racing, but regardless of the intensity of the competitiveness, motorists require to retain it collectively far better than Luca Corberi, who was competing in an FIA World Karting Championship celebration in Italy last fall. Following staying sidelined from the race, Corberi threw a piece of bodywork from his kart at a rival racer on the keep track of. Corberi skipped his supposed concentrate on but an additional driver struck the errant bumper. And right after the race was more than, Corberi billed at his rival and commenced punching him.

Both incidents have been captured on video clip and posted on the @F1FeederSeries1 Twitter account (through The Drive).

Now, 6 months later, the FIA has handed Corberi a fifteen-year ban from all motor racing sanctioned by the firm.

Following the incident, Corberi took to Facebook to situation an apology for attacking racer Paolo Ippolito, with whom he experienced tangled on the keep track of. “I’d like to apologize to the motorsport group for what I have completed,” he wrote, including that he was quitting motorsports competitiveness for everyday living.

The FIA ban, at the very least, can help cement that decision. Meanwhile, Corberi may well want to take into account some anger-administration classes.
