The organisers of the Geneva Motor Display have exposed strategies for a sister display in the center east, which will be held in the Qatari money of Doha biannually. 

Termed the Qatar Geneva Motor Display, the first version of the expo will consider place in both autumn 2022 or 2023, getting place each two decades thereafter at the Doha Exhibition and Convention centre.

The display does not swap the major exhibition in Switzerland, which will continue to be held each calendar year and will return in 2022 following a two calendar year suspension owing to the ongoing world wide coronavirus pandemic. 

Organisers say that a “full concept” of what the new Qatar version of the Geneva display will glimpse like will be introduced for the duration of the 2022 Geneva display, established to be held from 19 to 27 February next calendar year. 

Maurice Turrettini, President of the Long-lasting Committee of the Geneva Intercontinental Motor Display, claimed: “We are extremely very pleased and honoured that Qatar Tourism has place their trust in us for the conception of the new motor display in Doha. Our partnership is the outcome of extremely trusting and constructive discussions from working day a person. 

“The joint forces with Qatar Tourism empower us to focus on the future 91st version of GIMS in February 2022, where by we will be capable to assemble strategies and learnings for the new motor display in Doha.”
