Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk claimed on Friday that the company’s mobile software was coming back on the net after an app server outage before prevented many owners from connecting to their cars.
Musk was responding to a Tesla owner’s tweet, who claimed that he was encountering a “five hundred server error” to connect his Model three via the iOS app in Seoul, South Korea.
“Should really be coming back on the net now. Looks like we might have accidentally amplified verbosity of community targeted visitors,” Musk claimed.
The outage was initial described by Electrek.
About five hundred end users described they confronted an error at about four:forty p.m. EST, according to outage checking web page Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating position stories from a sequence of sources, which include user-submitted glitches on its system. There were being just more than 60 stories at about nine:twenty p.m. EST.
“Apologies, we will just take actions to assure this isn’t going to happen yet again,” Musk tweeted.
