Best in Show at The Amelia Concours d’Elegance is a 1934 Duesenberg

FERNANDINA Beach front, Fla. — Finest in Display winners for the 2022 Amelia Concours d’Elegance have been just declared, and we have been there to see the pair roll up and claim their prizes.

The Amelia, like some other concours situations, arms out two “best in show” awards. The key (and most prized) award goes to the total Best in Exhibit, and this calendar year it is the 1934 Duesenberg J-531 Convertible Coupe. 

In the meantime, the next award goes to the Finest in Present for “Sport.” In other phrases, it’s the Best in Show among the lots of motorsports entries in the display. This award goes to the 2017 Cadillac DPi-V.R car or truck you see pictured at the leading of this publish with the Duesenberg. The Konica Minolta vehicle gained the 24 Hrs of Daytona under Wayne Taylor Racing’s stewardship and was the motor vehicle that marked Cadillac’s instead productive return to prototype racing.

2022 Amelia Concours d

The Duesenberg that gained was section of an all-Duesenberg class, and the Cadillac was portion of a 60th Anniversary of the Daytona 24 Hour course. It was the latest racecar on screen, so it successful compared to the a lot of other old racecars was a bit of a surprise for a concours event.
